Kristie Boyd

began Tap, Ballet and Jazz at the age of two, at age 17 after winning many prestige awards, she felt it was time to further her abilities trying her hand at Ballroom and Latin dancing, excelling in this genre Kristie turned professional at age 19 and was chosen to partner Chris Hobbs on season 5 of Dancing With the Stars, she has starred on the hit NZ television shows Stars In Their Eyes, Singing Bee and the NZ Variety Show and has performed and coached on the P&O Cruise Ship The Pacific Pearl with great success.  During her competitive years Kristie has won the prestigious Noel Burnett Tap Award at age 15 is the NZ New Vogue Champion for 2009 and 2010 and the NZ Closed Standard Champion for 2011.  Kristie is a qualified NZ New Vogue, Latin, Tap and Jazz Adjudicator and regularly competes and trains overseas.  Joining forces with Jonny Williams teaching all of the above genres at their dance school Limelight Dance Studios, she now trains many talented students who have excelled in the performance world and is very excited to be passing on her experience and knowledge to all future stars of tomorrow.
