Jonny Williams

After many successes in New Zealand and overseas Jonny turned professional and became a household name performing on 4 seasons of the hit TVNZ show Dancing With The Stars partnering celebrities such as Angela Bloomfield, Megan Alatini, Miriama Smith and Barbara Kendall.

He has performed at many events including the "NZ Variety Show" and the "Qantas Media Awards", and performed and taught on the P&O Cruise Ship "The Pacific Pearl".  Before founding Limelight Dance Studios with his partner Kristie Boyd, Jonny was an independent contractor choreographing and teaching in dance studios around the Auckland, Hibiscus Coast area. He has been in high demand for workshops around New Zealand, and now mentors some of New Zealand’s most talented dancers who routinely return to the studio with National, Australian and South Pacific Titles. During his adult competitive years he has been the NZ Professional Latin Champion twice, The NZ Professional New Vogue Champion for the past 6 consecutive years and The NZ Closed Professional Standard Champion for 2011. He and his partner were international finalist at the "Asian Pacific Professional Dancesport Championships" in Tokyo, Japan.  Jonny is a qualified NZ Adjudicator in Standard, New Vogue and Latin.
